Job summary

Hive is building autonomous industrial machines and deploying them across the United States. As a Commissioning & Field Deployment Engineer, you will install, integrate, test and commission Hive systems on customer sites, traveling to facilities across the US and collaborating with engineering and deployment teams.

You will lead hands-on installations, perform system configuration and commissioning, and document results while ensuring safety, quality and operational readiness for customer use.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical or electromechanical systems.
• Experience installing, commissioning, maintaining or troubleshooting industrial equipment.
• Strong practical troubleshooting skills.
• Reading technical drawings, wiring diagrams and installation documentation.
• Experience with electrical wiring, sensors, control systems or industrial electronics.
• Comfortable using diagnostic tools and software-based configuration tools.
• Commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Willingness to travel across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Travel to US customer sites to install and commission Hive solutions.
• Install, configure and commission Hive systems on site.
• Troubleshoot issues in active industrial environments.
• Collaborate with the Deployment Manager and engineering teams.
• Document commissioning results and corrective actions.
• Support validation and go-live activities.
