Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to serve as a primary therapist from evaluation through discharge in Elk Grove and surrounding areas. You will provide in-home and community-based therapy, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support clients returning to meaningful daily life.

The role offers autonomy with a flexible schedule (5–10 hrs weekly up to 32–40 hrs).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted OT license by state.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least one year of OT experience.
• Experience with neuro rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; may lift up to 100 pounds with safety.
• Physically able for extended standing and walking.
• Health screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Reassess progress; attend meetings.
• Discharge evaluations and home safety recommendations.
• Communicate needs to the treatment team and family.
• Collaborate with OT/PT/SLP and other specialists.
