Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines, Turquoise Ridge Operations, seeks an Autonomous System Technician to maintain the on-board autonomous system during the Automation Project and transition into operations. You will join the Autonomous Haulage team, applying new technology in a fast-paced environment and ensuring safe operation while coordinating with Turquoise Ridge Open Pit Operations, Technical Services and Maintenance.

Qualifications

• Two years practical experience in surface or underground mining preferred.
• Autonomous systems experience is favorable.
• Demonstrated safety leadership and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be trained and deemed competent in the operation of the Autonomous Haulage System.
• Operate the system safely and in accordance with OEM manual and safety standards.
• Collaborate with field and office personnel to support daily plan for installation and haulage.
• Identify issues or faults and report to supervision or partners.
• Maintain autonomous hardware to OEM standards and calibrate on-board sensors.
