Job summary

AeroVect is transforming ground handling with autonomy and is seeking a Systems Test Engineer to lead V&V for autonomous ground support equipment. You will plan, run, and analyze tests in simulation and real-world environments to ensure safety and performance as AeroVect scales its autonomous solutions.

Candidates should have 5+ years in vehicle testing or robotics, strong debugging, and experience with structured test processes. Relocation to Atlanta is expected with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or related field.
  • 5+ years hands-on vehicle testing, embedded systems or robotics.
  • Familiar with real-world and simulation-based automotive/AV testing.
  • Knowledge of V-model, HIL/SIL, test automation, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong debugging and cross-disciplinary teamwork.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues across all levels.
  • Willingness to relocate to Atlanta; travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead V&V planning and execution for safety-critical AGSE systems.
  • Develop and maintain test plans for AV subsystems across ODD.
  • Provide artifacts to verify requirements and guide deployment.
  • Execute manual and automated tests in closed courses and live environments.
  • Operate and monitor AVs across driving modes; ensure safety.
  • Analyze diagnostics, sensor data, and incident data to verify performance.
  • Collaborate with autonomy, hardware and S&S teams; report issues and root causes.
  • Create scripts/tools for test automation, reporting, and regression tracking.
  • Participate in triage and release-readiness; mentor others in TDD.
