Qualifications

• MD/DO, with the completion of an orthopedic surgery residency.
• Fellowship training is not required, though training in trauma or sports medicine aligns with anticipated community needs.
• Prior independent practice experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general orthopedic care and develop a broad-based orthopedic practice serving Chatham County and the surrounding region.
• Collaborate closely with UNC Orthopaedics faculty and UNC Health to coordinate care and referrals.
• Affiliation with an academic medical center with opportunities for academic engagement.
