Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Orlando, FL is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to independently manage health problems and coordinate care for clinic patients. The NP works within a physician protocol, assessing health status, diagnosing, planning and implementing treatment, and evaluating patient progress.

The candidate should be a graduate of an accredited nursing school and NP program, hold ARNP licensure, and ideally have Family Medicine certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Current Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) Licensure.
• Current Nurse Practitioner certification in Family Medicine, preferred.
• Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical for clinic patients.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient’s age-specific needs.
• Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities.
• Implements interventions to support the patient to regain or maintain physiologic stability, including but not limited to serving in the first assisting role.
• Monitors the effectiveness of interventions.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals.
• Facilitates staff, patient and family decision making by providing educational tools and patient engagement
