Job summary

Bot Auto in Houston is seeking an early-career Software Engineer to join the Simulation Systems team. You will help build simulation infrastructure and tools used to validate autonomous vehicle software, focusing on C++ and Python development.

You'll work with cross-functional teams across perception, prediction, planning and controls, contributing to scalable testing environments and reliable simulation workflows. A solid fundamentals in robotics and software design is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong C++ (C++17 preferred) and Python; OO programming and data structures.
• Familiarity with Linux, multithreading, debugging, and software design principles.
• Passion for robotics, simulation, or autonomous systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop simulation software and infrastructure for autonomous vehicle testing.
• Build tools for simulation workflows and testing pipelines.
• Collaborate with Perception, Prediction, Planning and Controls teams.
• Document features and design; participate in code reviews.
