Bosch Research and Technology Center North America in Sunnyvale, CA invites a Driving Foundations Research Intern to join a cutting-edge AI research team. You will work on foundation models and autonomous mobility, collaborating with senior researchers and contributing to publications and real-world deployments.

As part of a global research network, you will develop prototypes, analyze results, and help advance E2E planning, RL, and multi-modal trajectory modeling.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Ph.D. or Master's program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, AI, Robotics, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong research background in autonomous driving, robotics, computer vision, machine learning, or related areas.
• Experience with post-training, reinforcement learning, self-play, and end-to-end systems.
• Strong programming in Python and experience with modern AI/ML frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work in a collaborative research environment.

Responsabilités

• Conduct novel research in E2E, Distillation, and RL methods.
• Develop research prototypes that demonstrate innovative ideas and solutions.
• Collaborate with Bosch researchers and subject-matter experts.
• Analyze experimental results and identify opportunities for scientific innovation.
• Publish research outcomes in top-tier AI and robotics conferences and journals.
• Present findings through technical reports, publications, and presentations.
