Qualifications

• Strong ML engineering experience building, evaluating, and deploying production AI systems with deep learning, transformer models, and PyTorch.
• Hands-on with post-training LLMs or agentic systems with long-horizon execution and tool use.
• Track record of building evaluation systems for open-ended tasks judged by outcome.
• Experience reasoning over structured, heterogeneous real-world data (configs, graphs, logs, policy docs).
• Strong software engineering fundamentals; shipping production-quality Python code.
• Experience with data pipelines, distributed systems, and cloud infra (prefer AWS).
• Ability to work across model behavior, APIs, and infra; collaborate with multiple teams.
• Ability to independently research unfamiliar systems and become the team expert.
• Strong written and verbal communication; clear technical docs.
• Master’s or equivalent plus 4+ years of engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Build AI agents that map attack paths to specific control changes and rank by effectiveness.
• Convert pentest data into training/evaluation data; extract signal from success/failure.
• Design counterfactual experiments to test changes and operational costs.
• Create reasoning layer over heterogeneous control planes across vendor APIs.
• Develop safety architecture for autonomous changes: dry-run, blast-radius, approvals, rollback.
• Collaborate with attack/detection engineers, product, and infra to diagnose failures.
• Own end-to-end problems in fast-moving 0→1 environments where outputs affect production security posture.
