Job summary

SpaceXAI’s facilities team seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our data center infrastructure running at peak performance. You will operate with autonomy, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with infrastructure engineers, technicians, and internal customers to support mission-critical goals and drive global impact toward space technology.

You will perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical maintenance, interpret schematics, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years in HVAC/plumbing/mechanical/electrical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints; interpret maintenance specs.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, with MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC and plumbing equipment to keep data center systems in peak condition.
• Repair and inspect air handlers, cooling towers, pumps, and valves.
• Perform ductwork modifications, brazing, soldering, and piping repairs.
• Assemble and maintain pipes, heating and drainage systems per codes.
• Read schematics and diagnose failures; document and report status.
• Ensure compliance with safety, building codes, and SpaceXAI policies.
• Open and manage electronic work tickets; coordinate with teams.
