Job summary

UAB Medicine seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join the UAB Division of Community Anesthesia serving UAB St. Vincent’s facilities in Birmingham.

You will provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for a wide range of procedures and participate in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students. The role offers Flexi/PRN, non-benefited scheduling, with autonomy within a collegial team of anesthesiologists and surgeons.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Active Alabama CRNA license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Participate in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality; adhere to department policies.
