My Health Onsite in Ocala is seeking an Autonomous APRN for a part-time role at the Marion County Employee Health and Wellness Center. You will evaluate and diagnose patients, provide treatment plans, and empower individuals to maintain healthier lifestyles.

The position requires an APRN with autonomous designation, Florida licensure, and DOT/workers’ comp experience. Hours are Mon-Tue and include a Wednesday shift, with emphasis on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Graduate of an accredited APRN program approved by the Florida Board of Nursing.
• 2+ years of clinical experience as an APRN, preferably in primary or urgent care.
• Current and unrestricted APRN license (Florida).
• Dispensing license (Florida) or willing to obtain one (required for the position).
• Experience with DOT physicals.
• Experience with worker's compensation exams.
• DEA license.
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Autonomous APRN designation required.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations of patients, assessment and treatment of injuries or illnesses, including women’s health.
• Order and interpret standard tests to diagnose and treat patients.
• Record patient medical data, health history, progress notes and exam results.
• Educate patients regarding illness and treatment, self-care, prevention, and health maintenance.
• Document assessments, actions, care, treatment responses, and communications in EMR.
• Assist medical staff with procedures and treatments.
• Perform DOT physicals (DOT certification not required).
• Promote wellness educational programs.
• Maintain patient confidentiality of care information.

Who We Are

My Health Onsite manages employer sponsored health and wellness centers. Our medical team takes time to build strong relationships with our patients. No one is rushed in and out, and no one is a "number." Patients (ages 8 and up) may access a range of medical services including a dispensary, wellness services, and treatment for acute illnesses and chronic conditions. Enjoy a relaxed pace of only 12-15 patients a day and never have to worry about insurance or billing. Our programs go beyond caring for the sick and injured - we make prevention our number one goal.

My Health Onsite providers are responsible for meeting, assessing and diagnosing patients in the health center, as well as prescribing patients with appropriate medication, health regimens and lifestyle adjustments that will contribute to their recovery, prevent future health issues and promote a healthier lifestyle. Providers must exemplify exceptional customer service to patients and empower them to take control of their own health.

Schedule

Monday and Tuesday 8a-6p and Wednesday: 08:00am-7:00pm

Essential Responsibilities
