LocumTenens.com seeks an experienced anesthesiologist to cover a community hospital OR in Carlsbad, NM. The role is a day shift with call every 4th week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, performing bread-and-butter and obstetric cases with a 95% hands-on approach under autonomous practice.

The successful candidate will be board-certified in Anesthesiology, possess prescriptive authority, and work within a staffing model of 4 MDs and 1 CRNA. This is a locum assignment with ongoing needs.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Anesthesiology required.
• Prescriptive authority required.
• Autonomous practice model; 95% hands-on.
• 4 MDs, 1 CRNA staffing arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Provide day shift coverage Monday–Friday in Carlsbad, NM.
• Take call every 4th week, Mon-Thu 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
• Maintain 95% hands-on involvement in case care.
• Operate in an autonomous Anesthesia Department with CRNA collaboration.
