Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking a board-certified anesthesiologist for an assignment in San Jose. The candidate will provide comprehensive anesthesia care across multiple specialties in an anesthesiologist-only model, with cardiac cases and a 100% hands-on MD requirement.

Dates needed ASAP through December 30, 2028, with day shift and call coverage. This locum tenens position requires surgery center experience and the ability to operate independently.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Anesthesiology is required.
• Autonomous practice in an anesthesiologist-only model (no CRNAs).
• call coverage required during assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across multiple surgical specialties including OR, labor and delivery, neurosurgery, spine, orthopedics, gynecology, oncology and pediatric cases.
• Manage cardiac cases (on- and off-pump CABG) and major vascular procedures with approximately 100 cardiac cases annually.
• Operate independently within an anesthesiologist-only model; 100% hands-on MD; day shift; call required.
