Bureau of Prisons/Federal Prison System in Bennettsville, SC, is seeking an Automotive Worker Foreman to oversee maintenance and repair of all vehicles serving the institution. You will operate within the Facilities department and act as the subject matter expert, with a high degree of independence under general supervision.
As part of the job, you will share in the security responsibilities of the institution and perform tasks required to keep vehicles and campus operations running smoothly.

Serves as the Automotive Worker Foreman and is responsible for all maintenance and repair to all vehicles which serve the institution. Functions in the Facilities department and is under the general supervision of a General Foreman and/or Facility Manager. The incumbent of this position is the subject matter expert in the maintenance of institution vehicles and therefore, works with a great deal of independence.
Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.

The posted pay range is $33.51 – $39.11/hr.
