Job summary

RGBSI seeks an experienced engineer to design, develop and evaluate electronic components and hardware systems for automotive applications in Michigan. You will package wiring harnesses following Stellantis guidelines and support vehicle build events at client sites.

The role requires applying DFM principles, coordinating engineering changes, and reviewing warranty data to drive design improvements. Travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

  • College degree in engineering or equivalent training.
  • BS Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial preferred).
  • Completion of recommended corporate training programs.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, modify and evaluate electronic parts and hardware systems.
  • Package wiring harnesses per Stellantis design guidelines.
  • Support vehicle build events at Customer site.
  • Incorporate Client's DFM guidelines into the design.
  • Support cost reduction initiatives.
  • Specify, document and coordinate engineering changes.
  • Issue documentation to authorize design changes and track cost.
  • Review warranty claims to identify design improvements.
