Job summary

Wheel Pros, LLC is seeking a dedicated delivery driver in Elgin, IL to help us get products to customers. Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time, on-site role with Monday–Thursday shifts. Starting pay ranges from $23 to $25 per hour, with growth opportunities within the industry leader in custom wheels.

Qualifications

• Maintain a professional representation of the Company in all customer/vendor interactions.
• Prior experience delivering merchandise to customers using a box truck or similar vehicle.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and maintain a good driving record.
• Have a valid Class C Drivers License and be able to pass a DOT test.
• Able to lift up to 75 lb occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Project a positive image when delivering directly to our customers.
• Load and unload orders, make deliveries, and return undelivered material to the warehouse.
• Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and communicate concerns to manager; maintain the vehicle.
• Deliver to customer job sites or sites of business while following safety procedures.
• Observe all safety rules related to operating a truck.
• Check quantities of goods received and obtain signatures for deliveries.
• Assist warehouse staff with housekeeping, order fulfillment, packaging, shelving, and stock relocation.
