Job summary

Midas SAIZ in Florida is seeking an automotive welder/technician to work independently at times and collaborate with peers in a full-service facility.

You will diagnose with state-of-the-art systems, perform exhaust and muffler welding, brakes, suspension, A/C, and routine maintenance, while upholding stringent safety standards and delivering quality workmanship. Experience with foreign and domestic vehicles preferred; valid driver’s license and own tools recommended.

Qualifications

• Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment
• Knowledge in welding, exhaust work
• automotive brakes, suspension, & engine diagnostics
• Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
• Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines
• High School Diploma or equivalent - technical degree a definite plus
• Valid driver’s license
• Own tools/equipment
• Able to service both foreign and domestic vehicles

We are looking for automotive welder/technicians that are able to work independently of others, while also being able to work collaboratively at times with peers. We have a full-service facility and we are looking for automotive welder/technicians with some exhaust experience to help us create an environment of success!
