Job summary

Suburban-Automotive-Services-1 in Auburn Hills is seeking a weekday CVO Test Driver to evaluate new vehicles, complete test routes, and document findings to support quality and performance.

This hands-on role offers Monday–Friday hours 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, a starting pay of $19.00 per hour based on experience, weekly pay, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with company match; 80 hours PTO after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Able to operate a manual transmission.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Safety-focused, dependable, and able to work independently.
• Capable of sitting for extended driving periods.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned vehicle durability routes following testing procedures.
• Perform vehicle evaluations under varying driving conditions.
• Complete daily driver reports and document test results.
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections and report concerns.
• Test engine, transmission, braking, noise, and overall performance.
• Assist with vehicle preparation, shuttling, detailing, and garage tasks.
• Follow all customer safety policies and procedures.
• Mentor other drivers when assigned.

What You'll Be Doing
