Job summary

Winslow BMW of Colorado Springs is seeking an experienced Automotive Used Car Technician to join our service team. You will diagnose, repair, and inspect a range of vehicles, with emphasis on BMW Certified Pre-Owned standards and quality customer service.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to generate accurate repair estimates. ASE certifications are preferred, and applicants should be willing to pursue them.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive technician experience.
• Experience with BMW Certified Pre-Owned inspections is a plus.
• ASE certifications preferred or willingness to pursue them.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work 40+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a diverse range of vehicles with precision.
• Review TSBs and other service recommendations to craft actionable repair plans.
• Provide thorough and honest assessments with detailed estimates.
• Perform used car inspections, including BMW Certified Pre-Owned inspections.
• Maintain professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Keep the shop organized, clean, and safe.
• Deliver full, transparent courtesy inspections.

Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:

• Undertaking a diverse array of automotive repairs with precision and efficiency.
• Meticulously reviewing Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) and other service recommendations, translating them into actionable solutions tailored to our customers' needs.
• Conducting thorough and honest assessments of vehicles, culminating in detailed estimates of necessary repairs.
• Performing meticulous used car inspections, including BMW Certified Pre-Owned inspections, ensuring our customers drive away with peace of mind.
• Upholding the utmost professionalism in all interactions with customers and colleagues alike.
• Maintaining the shop in pristine condition, fostering a safe and efficient working environment.
• Delivering full, accurate, and transparent courtesy inspections, epitomizing our commitment to exceptional customer service.

Desired Qualifications:

• A positive attitude that radiates enthusiasm and a genuine desire to serve customers.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience as an automotive technician, showcasing your seasoned expertise.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing all makes and models of vehicles, demonstrating your versatility.
• Ability to consistently flag 40+ hours per week, showcasing your commitment to excellence.
• Eagerness to expand your skill set and adapt to evolving processes.
• Previous experience with all makes and models is preferred, while dealership diagnostic equipment experience is a valuable asset.
• Current ASE Certifications are preferred, or a willingness to pursue them while contributing to our dynamic team.
