Bill McCandless Ford in Meadville, PA is actively seeking an experienced Certified Truck Technician (Gas and Diesel) to diagnose, service, and repair diesel vehicles in a team-oriented shop. This family-owned dealership emphasizes quality workmanship and community values, with no Sundays.

Candidates should have 2+ years of automotive/truck experience, PA safety inspection license, and PA emissions license is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of automotive or truck technician experience preferred.
  • Pennsylvania State Safety Inspection License required.
  • Pennsylvania Emissions Inspection License is a plus.
  • Ford certification preferred, or willingness and ability to obtain Ford certification.
  • ASE Certification preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic, electrical, engine repair, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have your own tools.
  • Strong mechanical ability and attention to detail.
  • Positive, professional attitude with a willingness to continue learning.
  • Dependable team player who works well with others.

What You’ll Do

As a Truck Technician, you will diagnose, service, and repair diesel vehicles while providing the quality workmanship our customers expect.
