Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Hands-on validation experience with test planning and execution.
• Experience with data-driven failure analysis and root cause investigation.
• Understanding of FMVSS requirements and automotive manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the validation of trim and closures systems, including plastic trim, injection-molded parts, painted surfaces, and glazing assemblies.
• Develop and execute validation plans with defined test methods and acceptance criteria.
• Plan and run durability, environmental, and performance testing; interpret results.
• Lead root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Assess manufacturing processes and materials to identify failure modes early.
