Qualifications

  • Technical diploma or AAT/AS/AAS in discipline or closely related field.
  • Completion of MOPAR-Chrysler Automotive Program or 1+ year experience in a MOPAR dealership.
  • ASE Certifications (G1 and A6) and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Teaches Chrysler courses as assigned, per approved syllabi (35%).
  • Organizes and administers the program to meet college goals (5%).
  • Prepares lesson plans for credited courses (5%).
  • Develops program and course outlines, goals and objectives (5%).
  • Maintains quality assessment and improvement strategies (5%).
  • Coordinates departmental activities (2%).
  • Participates in college and community activities (3%).
  • Evaluates student progress toward goals and objectives (5%).
  • Maintains supplies, equipment and budget requests (2%).
  • Maintains program certification requirements (3%).
  • Prepares documentation and administrative reports (5%).
  • Keeps abreast of trends via training, seminars and literature (5%).
  • Meets with students and staff to discuss instructional programs (5%).
  • Demonstrates commitment to work and organizational goals (5%).
  • Assists with recruitment, retention and job placement (5%).
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Gwinnett Technical College (2%).
