Qualifications

• Required: Automotive Title Clerk experience, preferably in a dealership.
• Proficient with MS Office/Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced automotive office environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good work ethic, positive attitude, and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Process vehicle sales paperwork, prepare tax and title documents, submit legal transfer work to the DMV, verify funds are collected and documentation is accurate.
• Handle all paperwork for new and used vehicle registrations.
• Prepare tax and title documents necessary for vehicle transactions.
• Submit legal transfer documents to the DMV.
• Verify funds and ensure the correct lienholder is paid off before processing title applications.
• Verify the accuracy of applications and ensure completeness.
• Assist customers with inquiries about the title process.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
