Job summary

ADESA is seeking a Title Administrator in Eugene, OR to process automotive titles through the auction flow, serving customers and managing title documentation. You will review titles, apply DMV rules, calculate fees, and ensure accurate entry in internal systems.

This role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and cross-department collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Office Manager, Commercial Accounts Manager, or designated manager, you’ll handle title transfers,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Notary certification preferred.
• May require active DMV certification for Title/Registration processing depending on location.
• 1 year of automotive title experience preferred (auction/dealership/state motor vehicle dept).
• 18+ years of age with valid driver's license meeting requirements.
• Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for onsite visitors; direct or guide visitors as appropriate.
• Assist customers at front counter for title needs and general service.
• Review and analyze titles for accuracy; identify corrections or additional docs.
• Apply knowledge of local DMV rules, fees, and requirements; communicate with managers and customers.
• Calculate estimated fees for title processes.
• Prepare titles for transfer between buyers and sellers per jurisdiction.
• Submit requests for duplicate titles or other docs.
• Verify buyer/seller/vehicle data in databases; review odometer readings and liens.
• Enter and update information in internal systems.
