Job summary

Sam's Club in Metairie, LA is hiring a Customer Service Associate to support sales and service requests, educate members and fellow associates, and maintain safe, efficient store operations.

You will use POS systems and hand-held tools to assist customers, process transactions, and contribute to a welcoming shopping environment. Prior retail or auto service exposure is a plus, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully complete all job trainings and assessments within the required time frame.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to fulfil sales and service requests and mentor new technicians.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety, compliance, tire and battery guidelines and POS operations.
• Operate digital tools and hand-held devices to plan, drive sales and improve the service experience.
• Handle cash registers, process transactions and maintain inventory accuracy per policies.
• Assist members with purchases and resolve issues to support the customer experience.
