Job summary

Technical Professionals Group, LLC in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Test Technician to install and maintain testing instrumentation and support truck test setups. You will work closely with test engineers to execute plans, document observations, and perform quick repairs to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
Mechanical background with hands-on automotive testing experience.
Experience with instrumentation installation and data collection.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain instrumentation for testing purposes.
Assist in truck setup, test setup execution, and teardown.
Collaborate with test engineers to execute test plans effectively.
Provide feedback on test procedures and outcomes.
Assist engineers with technician/mechanic tasks such as part swapping, cable routing, and sensor installation.
Utilize strong diagnostic skills and critical thinking to address challenges in real-time.
Adhere to test plans, prescribed modules, and routes.
Demonstrate situational awareness and exercise good judgement, especially regarding safety concerns.
Perform temporary repairs to prevent downtime during testing.
Familiarize oneself with all vehicle systems and operations.
Proficiently use computer, tablet, and mobile phone devices for documentation and communication purposes.
