Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2 years in automotive industry or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with BOM creation, maintenance and management.
• Experience planning prototype hardware and test plans for powertrain components.
• Experience managing change orders and integrating design changes into BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage prototype BOMs for engine, transmission, and axle programs.
• Process change orders to update prototype BOMs.
• Define hardware upgrade packages for prototype configurations.
• Develop and maintain prototype build requirements, endurance test plans, and teardown schedules.
• Maintain BOMs and test plans using global and regional tools.
• Analyze test and project data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, Purchasing, and Suppliers.
• Prepare detailed project plans and timelines and support budget definition.
• Track parts and engineering numbers; oversee ordering of prototype/test components.
• Support vehicle test activities by managing hardware and test cells.
