Job summary

Kett Engineering Corporation is seeking a Test Driver to join our automotive R&D program in North East, MD. You will report to the Lead Driver or Project Coordinator and drive vehicles on specified routes during morning or afternoon shifts, ensuring safety and accurate reporting.

The role requires a clean driving record, the ability to pass background checks and drug screening, and strong written reporting and team collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read maps and follow driving routes precisely.
• Strong reporting skills for vehicle evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct full vehicle evaluations and prepare clear reports for each vehicle during assigned shift.
• Drive designated routes for 8–10 hour shifts and perform test procedures.
• Participate in all vehicle testing including special tests.
• Operate vehicles safely and comply with traffic laws.
• Maintain safety and security procedures and adapt to weather conditions.
