Job summary
Ingham ISD is seeking a Specialist, Automotive Technology to support instructors and students in the Automotive Technology program. You will assist with ordering, stocking and tracking parts, and provide industry expertise within a parts/service environment. The role requires ASE C1 or P2 certification preferred and at least two years of related experience; opportunity to obtain substitute permits is preferred. The position is on site at the Wilson Talent Center in Mason, MI.
Qualifications
ASE certification in C1: Automotive Service Consultant and/or P2: Automotive Parts preferred.
Two years' recent successful work experience in automotive parts and/or service environment.
Ability to obtain either a substitute teacher permit, substitute career authorization or annual career authorization preferred.
Responsibilities
Assist teachers and students in the Automotive Technology programs.
Order and stock supplies, check out and track equipment, provide industry expertise in an automotive parts environment.
Maintain inventory levels, allocate purchases, and reconcile purchases monthly.
