Mavis Discount Tire - Automotive Technicians with PA Inspection License

We're looking for full-time Automotive Technicians with PA Inspection license to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Lancaster, PA area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

About the Position of Automotive Technicians

As Mavis's leaders in undercar repairs, our Technicians are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles. Responsibilities include performing undercar repairs such as brakes, struts, and shocks, completing state-mandated inspections, changing oil and filters, checking fluids, replacing worn parts, and dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.

Qualifications

We seek team members who share our commitment to customer satisfaction and high-quality service. To qualify for the Automotive Technician position, candidates must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance, or a combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties
• Have an extensive personal toolbox of tools used in undercar repairs

The following additional qualification is required:

• PA State Inspection License

As an active position, Automotive Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance. Mechanics must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
