We're looking for full-time Automotive Technicians with PA Inspection license to join Team Mavis at our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Ephrata, PA area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

About the Position of Automotive Technicians

As Mavis's leaders in undercar repairs, our Technicians are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles. They perform undercar repairs such as brakes, struts, and shocks, and are responsible for completing state-mandated inspections, changing oil and filters, checking fluids, replacing worn parts, and dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.

Qualifications

To qualify, candidates must (1) be at least 18 years old; (2) be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; (3) have 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair or a combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties; and (4) possess a personal toolbox of tools used in undercar repairs.

Additional Requirement: PA State Inspection License.

Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, and performing repetitive movements. Mechanics must regularly lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
