Autos of Chicago in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians to join our growing service department. We are a high-volume independent dealership with over 500 vehicles in inventory and a fast-paced environment.

You will diagnose and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards, perform inspections and maintenance, and document work. We offer guaranteed hours for qualified technicians, competitive flat-rate pay, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with European, Domestic, and Import vehicles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs
• Complete maintenance and repair work according to manufacturer standards
• Diagnose drivability, electrical, suspension, engine, and transmission concerns
• Perform vehicle reconditioning and used car inspections
• Accurately document repair recommendations and completed work
• Maintain productivity and quality standards
• Follow all safety procedures and shop policies
