Automotive Technician with Matthews Kia of Clay

This job posting offers an exciting opportunity for military Veterans to start a career as a Kia Certified Service Technician through the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP).

Job Description

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical components.
• Complete repair and warranty request orders following Kia and Retailer policies.
• Test drive vehicles and analyze, diagnose, and repair systems using Kia diagnostic tools and strategies.
• Perform services and repairs efficiently, communicating with the shop foreman and service advisor to ensure a positive customer experience.

Additional Information

All employment opportunities are with independently owned Kia Retailers. Applicants are applying for full-time positions with a Kia Retailer, not directly with KUS or ERS. Employment decisions are at the discretion of each Kia Retailer and are subject to local laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Honorable Discharge from military service.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Experience in a technical or mechanical field.
• Willingness to complete drug screening and background checks.
