Kia Retailers are offering skilled and experienced military Veterans the opportunity to begin a career as a Kia Certified Service Technician. To support this initiative, Kia America, Inc. has established the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP).

Job Description

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical components.
• Complete repair orders and warranty request orders following Kia and Retailer policies.
• Test drive vehicles, analyze, diagnose, and repair components and systems using Kia diagnostic tools and strategies.
• Perform services, diagnostics, and repairs efficiently, communicating with the shop foreman and service advisor to ensure customer satisfaction.

All employment opportunities listed are with independently owned Kia Retailers. Applicants are applying for full-time employment with a Kia Retailer, not with KUS or ERS. Employment decisions are at the discretion of each Kia Retailer and are subject to applicable laws.

KUS and ERS do not guarantee employment or participation in VTAP. Eligibility depends on meeting specific requirements.

Requirements

• Honorable Discharge.
• Valid Driver's License from any state with a clean driving record.
• Experience in a technical or mechanical field is required.
