Job summary

CarMax in West Point, VA seeks a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose and recondition vehicles to meet safety and performance standards. You’ll work with a skilled team, gain hands-on experience on domestic and foreign models, and follow strict EH&S guidelines in a modern facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Skilled at multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Maintain ASE Certifications as listed where required by law.
