Job summary

Promotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician in Plain City, OH. This Monday–Friday role offers a pay rate of $30–$55 per flagged hour and approximately 40 flagged hours per week, in a climate-controlled shop with 12 lifts, an alignment rack, and dedicated support staff.

You will work on Domestic, Asian, European, fleet, and light diesel vehicles while receiving support with parts and customer communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• A-Level or B-Level diagnostic ability.
• Experience with engine and transmission replacement.
• Professional automotive tools appropriate for experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical, drivability, and mechanical concerns.
• Complete general automotive repairs and maintenance.
• Perform engine and transmission replacements.
• Complete timing chain and head gasket repairs.
• Perform Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) using Tekmetric.
• Use Autel and Snap-on diagnostic equipment.
• Document diagnostic findings, recommended repairs, and completed work.
• Work on Domestic, Asian, European, fleet, and light diesel vehicles.

Pay Type: Flat Rate
Pay Schedule: Twice Monthly | 5th and 20th
Typical Production: Approximately 40 flagged hours per week
