Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics for our Cedar Hill, TX area locations. Join Team Mavis in a state-of-the-art service and tire sales center.

Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, and performing undercar repairs such as brakes and suspension, plus oil changes and inspections. Candidates must have 2 years of experience and ASE certifications, and be able to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Possess state inspection licenses.
• ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).
• Active role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing and lifting heavy items over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of automotive services.
• Complete undercar repairs such as brakes, shocks, struts, and tire work.
• Perform oil changes, fluid checks, part replacements, and state inspections.
