Job summary
Capital Honda in Lansing, MI is seeking an automotive technician to diagnose and repair vehicle concerns and perform maintenance on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C. You’ll use diagnostic tools and service equipment to test vehicles and complete repairs to dealership standards.
You’ll communicate with Service Advisors on additional repairs and estimated times, and perform warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
- One year dealership experience in technician role
- ASE certifications are ideal
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicle concerns efficiently and accurately
- Perform maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C and more
- Use diagnostic tools and special service equipment to test vehicles and components
- Complete repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards
- Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional repairs and estimated repair times
- Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
