Job summary

Bobby Rahal Honda of State College is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles with accuracy and hands-on skill. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and general automotive systems while staying current with factory training.

Expect to work Monday–Friday 7:30am–5pm with pay based on experience. Requires PA emissions and inspections licenses, valid driver's license, and your own tools; ASE/AC credentials are a plus with strong hands-on service ethic.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
• Valid state emissions and inspections licenses are required.
• AC certification is preferred.
• ASE training is preferred.
• Must have your own tools.
• Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Physical ability to walk, bend, squat, reach, turn, twist, and make repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Using your excellent troubleshooting skills, you correctly identify problems with our clients' vehicles.
• You give honest recommendations for upcoming vehicle repair and maintenance needs.
• You enjoy being able to work with your hands as you accurately and efficiently perform repair work on mechanical, electrical, and general automotive systems.
• Your positive attitude along with your ability to stay on top of the latest knowledge and factory training ensure your success in this role.
• Please note, you must already have your PA state emissions and inspections licenses to be qualified for this position.
