Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Maplewood, MN is hiring an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, under the guidance of experienced technicians. You will participate in inspections, assist in repairs, and learn essential automotive systems while delivering quality workmanship.

The role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for first-time hires, a flat-rate pay model, and pay between $19.25 and $28.93 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance including oil changes, brake and tire services.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and braking systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and rotation.
• Install parts as directed by technicians.
• Road test vehicles when required.
• Work toward ASE certifications within two years (tests paid by company) and maintain safe, high-quality workmanship.
