Job summary

Qualifications

  • Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
  • Must have a valid automobile driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
  • Basic understanding of automotive maintenance & tire repair services including oil changes, inspections, and tire repair.
  • Reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Two years automotive repair experience or vocational training preferred; ASE certification desired.

Responsibilities

  • Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
  • Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
  • Install batteries and check electrical systems.
  • Perform tire maintenance and road test vehicles.
  • Assist in repairs and interact with customers as needed.

Skills

Basic mechanical knowledge

Education

Vocational-Technical School program in related field
ASE certification or equivalent external qualifications
