Job summary

BMW of Monrovia in Monrovia, CA is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance to dealer and factory standards, supervising any apprentice technicians assigned.

You will receive repair orders, diagnose issues, obtain parts from the parts department, test drive when needed, and ensure safety and quality while maintaining a clean, organized shop and upholding high CSI.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ASE certification or manufacturing training.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards.
• Oversee the work of apprentice technicians.
• Receive repair orders and take to the stall area.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Road-test vehicles when required and ensure customer vehicles are not used for personal errands.
