Job Description

The hourly range for this role is $18-$22 per hour guaranteed minimum, and $28-$40 flat rate based on experience.

We are looking for a professional technician to help grow and improve our shop. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, able to coach entry-level technicians, own tools, and possess a valid driver’s license. We value team leadership and teamwork.

This role is full-time or part-time, primarily responsible for vehicle diagnostics, routine repairs, and maintenance, delivering 5-star service through effective communication and meeting guest expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle diagnostics and identify required repairs.
• Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every vehicle, documenting and communicating additional services needed.
• Assist in inventory management, including pulling and stocking parts.
• Maintain store cleanliness and readiness.
• Follow safety standards and conduct test drives per company policies.
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, and operational standards.
• Maintain technical proficiency through training.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Profile Summary:

• Perform basic automotive maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive training or experience.
• ASE certification and State Inspection license preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and good MVR.
• Own basic tools or participate in our tool purchase program.
