Summary:

Responsible for identifying necessary vehicle service and performing the repair, service, and/or maintenance work.

Responsibilities include the following:
  1. Examining customer vehicles.
  2. Identifying necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  3. Estimating cost of repairs.
  4. Performing vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  5. Documenting services performed.
  6. Performing services efficiently and according to dealership guidelines.
  7. Following dealership and manufacturer service guidelines.
  8. Requesting necessary parts.
  9. Maintaining CSI (Customer Service Index) at or above company standards.
  10. Maintaining an organized, clean, and safe work area.
  11. Participating in required training.
  12. Recording all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
  13. Following all safety rules and regulations.
  14. Demonstrating the company’s core values.
  15. Following company policies and procedures.
  16. Observing all federal, state, local, and company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  17. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily; reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with medical conditions.
  • Subaru experience is a plus.
Education/Experience:
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and systems, with demonstrable mechanical skills.
  • Technical training or equivalent experience required.
  • Valid insurable driver’s license.
Computer Skills:
  • Basic computer skills for timekeeping and inventory systems.
Communication Skills:
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions; effective communication with customers and staff.
Verbal and Writing Ability:
  • Ability to comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos; effectively present information to individuals and groups.
