Job summary

Purcell Tire & Rubber Co. seeks an experienced automotive technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide range of vehicle systems. You will follow safety procedures, use diagnostic tools, and perform wheel alignments while delivering quality service.

Responsibilities

• Test drive customer vehicles and run diagnostic devices.
• Perform accurate diagnosis of various warning lights, including check engine and ABS.
• Diagnose and repair issues causing vibration and noise.
• Repair brake, suspension, cooling, electrical, and other major automotive systems.
• Follow checklists to inspect belts, hoses, steering, spark plugs, brake and fuel systems, and wheel bearings.
• Perform wheel alignment service.
• Perform state safety and emissions inspections.
• Perform General Service tasks as necessary.
• Maintain tools and a clean work area.
• Uphold Purcell’s safety culture and perform all jobs safely.

• Tire & Automotive Industry – Essential industry information including tire brands, designs, treads; proper safety and functional procedures, and relevant customer markets. Mastery of all major automotive emissions, engine management, and electrical systems
