The Automotive Technician role at Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Spanaway, WA focuses on learning diagnostic, repair, and maintenance skills under seasoned techs. You will perform routine inspections, assist in repairs, and clearly convey findings to customers.

The position offers a $1500 sign-on bonus ($750 after 30 days, $750 after 90 days) and a flat-rate pay model rewarding efficiency. Medical and retirement benefits are included along with paid time off.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles.
• Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Completion of a vocational-technical school program related to automotive repair.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts and road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications within the first two years (Company pays test and registration fees; bonus for each test passed).
