Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Technician in Charlotte, NC to support our Bridgestone Retail Operations team.

You will learn and perform diagnosis, repair and maintenance on a variety of vehicles under the guidance of experienced technicians, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship. This full-time role offers a flat-rate pay model, sign-on bonus, and opportunities to earn ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• 2 years of automotive repair experience or related training.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance & tire repair services.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and repairs.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years.
