Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an Automotive Technician to learn and perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance in our Wisconsin service team. Under guidance from experienced technicians, you will engage in inspections, tire services, and customer interactions to deliver high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

The role features a $1,500 sign-on bonus for first-time hires and a pay range of $20.00–$31.25 per hour, with a performance-based flat-rate pay model.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance including oil changes, inspections, and tire repair.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Preferred: 2 years automotive repair experience or vocational training.
• ASE certification or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Aim to obtain/maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment (fees paid by company).
