Job Opportunity: Kia Certified Service Technician - Veterans

Kia Retailers are offering skilled and experienced military Veterans the chance to start an inspiring career as a Kia Certified Service Technician. To support this initiative, Kia America, Inc. has established the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP).

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical components.
  • Complete repair orders and warranty requests following Kia and Retailer policies and procedures.
  • Test drive vehicles, analyze, diagnose, and repair components and systems using Kia diagnostic tools and strategies.
  • Perform services, diagnostics, and repairs efficiently while communicating with the shop foreman and service advisor to ensure an optimal customer experience.

All employment opportunities listed are with independently owned and operated Kia Retailers. Applicants are applying for full-time positions with a Kia Retailer, not directly with Kia or ERS. Employment is subject to applicable laws and regulations. Kia and ERS do not guarantee employment but facilitate the application process.

Minimum Requirements
  • Honorable Discharge from the military
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Experience in a technical or mechanical field
  • Willingness to pass drug screening and background checks
